I am a reliable, engaging and innovative History and Politics teacher who is dedicated to getting the best results from her students. I trained as a teacher at the University of Cambridge and have since worked in both comprehensive and selective schools in London as Head of Department (maternity cover) and now, as Head of Year 11. As well as improving students' subject knowledge and exam technique, I am well experienced at developing students organisation and revision skills.

I am valued for my fun and logical approach to teaching and for noticing the varied improvements that my students make. I tailor my approach according to each individual student and take time to understand their particular strengths and weaknesses. I believe that it is the tutor’s role to break down complicated concepts into manageable and simplified steps and, in doing so, to increase the students understanding of a subject and their confidence in their own abilities.
