I am a supportive and friendly individual with a passion for teaching and  learning. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with Actuarial Science and a Masters in Statistics. As a child, I struggled with Maths. It was a subject that I used to fear until I was encouraged by my home tutor who nurtured me to become a confident and independent learner. Since then, I have been enthusiastic about not just learning, but teaching. Because of my own experience, I hope to encourage other children to see the joys of learning. 

My approach to teaching is to establish strong foundations and instil fundamental study skills, equipping them to excel in examinations and  that will serve my tutees well later in their academic lives.  As a tutor, I have over six years of experience,, specialising in helping children prepare for examinations from the 7+ entrance exams all the way up to the GCSE examinations.  With all my tutees, I have delivered outstanding revision courses and produced revision material tailored to each of my student’s individual needs, setting them up for exam success.
