Homeschooling Services
Exceptional Academics offer a variety of homeschooling services to flexibly facilitate your child’s education. We recognise that there are many reasons that you may wish to homeschool your child; there are many ways to do so too.
Our expert tutors have designed a series of tailored services to engage in the diverse ways that homeschooling can be performed effectively:
Homeschool
Our Homeschool programme is delivered by parents/ carers. Our team of exceptional academics provides you with the materials to help you best facilitate your child. Our team will also provide you advise in order to deliver a curriculum and homework programme that aids you to effectively and efficiently educate at home.
A timetabling guide, which will aid you in delivering an education that, while rigorous, allows room for students to engage in elective learning too, will be supplied. An important aspect of homeschooling is to consider the subjects that your young person would like to engage with. In addition to the provision of compulsory subjects (such as English and Maths), our guide allows for the inclusion of elective subjects; this allows your child a sense of ownership over their education, and the freedom to enhance their study skills in preparation for higher education and their careers.
Homeschool also provides recommendations for extra-curricular visits for a variety of elective subjects including, Drama & Dance, Visual Arts, Humanities, Music, Sports etc. These extra-curricular opportunities are vital to the social development of your young person during homeschooling; rounding out their education and allowing them to form articulate and educated opinions about the world around them.
Registration for the exams are handled exclusively by our exams officer within this package. Subjects, which require coursework will be organised as independent assessments. Our team will recommend a series of standard exams for your child in English, Maths and Sciences, however we can organise alternative exam boards at the client’s request.
Homeschool +
This programme imparts all the benefits of Homeschool, with the addition of private tuition for subjects where your child could use some targeted support to help reach their potential. Our tutors can deliver lessons both online and in-person.
Typically, an extra three hours of private tuition per week will help fill any gaps in two subjects. These tutors provide you with a weekly report of your child’s lesson and a termly development report.
Homeschool Online
Particularly useful for children who accompany their parents while travelling, Homeschool Online delivers the educational needs of your child through online classrooms. A timetabled core curriculum of English, Maths, Sciences and Study Skills, will be enriched with additional subjects for a balanced, bespoke education of 20-30 hours a week.
A meeting will be arranged to discuss the individual needs of your child, establish their subject preferences and discover their personality so that the most suitable tutors can be allocated to your family, for the duration of their homeschooling.
Homeschool also provides recommendations for extra-curricular visits for a variety of elective subjects including, Drama & Dance, Visual Arts, Humanities, Music, Sports etc. These enrichment activities are vital to the social development of your young person, resulting in a well-rounded education, allowing them to form articulate and educated opinions about the world around them.
Our tutors deliver these sessions with your young person via Skype or Zoom, provide weekly reports by subject and set appropriate homework.
