I hold a Master’s in Mathematics Education from the University of Cambridge and graduated at the top of my class with a BSc in Mathematics from Durham University. Over the years, I’ve worked as a teacher, Mathematics Department Chair, international examiner (IB, IGCSE, and A-Level), and specialist tutor, helping students excel in IB (AA & AI), A-Level, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, SAT, ACT, and IGCSE.

Teaching Experience

My career has taken me across four continents, including five years teaching Mathematics at the British International School of Vietnam, before moving to the United States, where I became Head of Mathematics at the British International School of Boston. These experiences have shaped my teaching approach and allowed me to support students from diverse backgrounds in achieving top grades and securing university placements at leading institutions in Mathematics, Engineering, and other STEM fields.

I believe that Maths should be accessible, engaging, and even fun! My goal is to build students’ confidence, develop their problem-solving skills, and tailor lessons to their individual needs. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students grow into confident mathematicians and reach their full potential.

Interests

Outside of teaching, I love to travel, ski, and stay active. I’ve completed multiple marathons, several IronMan triathlons, and have even competed in international rowing. My wife and I have a two-year-old daughter, and we’re excited to be welcoming our second child this summer!
