I am a very experienced practitioner with a confident and reassuring style. My online skills were honed during the pandemic, where I taught a full timetable and ran a boarding house remotely. My greatest strength as a tutor is my ability to engage with a pupil and family properly, never taking a one size fits all approach. I am particularly adept at identifying learning styles and tailoring my teaching to what works best for my pupils, taking a responsive and interactive approach that creates a positive and joyful environment. I am a very experienced examinations coach, and have tutored many pupils through CE, Scholarship and Oxbridge entry. Recent successes include pupils into Harrow, Radley, Haileybury, Alleyns and St Pauls, at 11 and 13+, and I currently have six former tutees at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and Brown. I am an examiner for the IB and Edexcel, and I love the challenge of helping pupils to navigate syllabi and mark schemes with confidence and aplomb. I love stretching and challenging my pupils in a supportive framework and seeing their skills develop quickly and fluently.
