I undertook my PGCE training at the Institute of Education, UCL, and have worked in schools in Fulham and South Kensington. I have piloted new practical science experiments for A-Level students to prepare them more fully for laboratory work in higher education, as well as aid the IGCSE pupils with their studies by producing my own revision booklets that cover the specification as well as exam technique. I have 9 years experience teaching all three sciences from year 7 through to year 9 as well as Biology through to A-level. One of my most rewarding experiences at school is helping run the Medical Society where we help potential medical students prepare for and apply to medical schools.

After undertaking a Biology degree and graduating with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Bath, I spent the next three years teaching English on a little island in the south of Japan. I found that my love for teaching grew from that point onwards. I also learned to SCUBA dive while there, which led me to become a qualified SCUBA diving instructor in Mexico. I have been tutoring Science for the last 5 years.
