English, 11+, GCSE, A Level
Having completed the highly competitive Teach First training programme, achieving ‘outstanding’ overall, I am now a Teach First Ambassador, achieving Outstanding overall. I have now taught for three years in a competitive secondary. Teaching a wide range of students, from those where English is not their vernacular to those who have gained places at Oxbridge. Teaching in a school, where there is such a wide range of abilities, has prepared me confidently to tackle any academic issues across differing academic abilities. I worked in my own primary school, Thomas’ Clapham, for over 6 months and, more recently, I have experience working in a primary school near my current school.
As KS3 (Year 7,8 and 9) Co-ordinator, I oversee curriculum, data, intervention and progress for over 400 girls of all abilities so am experienced and highly skilled at assessing students and planning specifically to enhance their performance. I am also a sixth form tutor and have had a year 11 exam class for the last three years, achieving impressive results for each.
